Once a year Lemay Marymount (not the Tacoma museum) hosts a car show, open house, and automobile auction. This is a unique opportunity to see not only the Marymount collection of at least 1500 cars, but also the Family Collection stored a mile or so away.
While there is a car show, we spend most of the day touring and taking in the auction.
It is a truly remarkable collection of cars, motorcycles, memorabilia, and all sorts of other things (including a rooms full of meat grinders, radios, and vintage televisions).
When you’re done touring, settle in and watch the auction. You might even be tempted to take home a project, like JCF member Bill was last year!
Meet at the Fife McDonalds at 8:00 AM to caravan to the event site.
