Jet City Fieros JET CITY FIEROS Jet City Fieros - A Pacific Northwest Car Club
A Pacific Northwest Car Club

Jet City Fieros is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the only two seat, mid engine sports car ever produced in the USA. By entering our cars in the local car shows and promoting club tours, we will continue to raise the awareness of the general public concerning the Fiero.

This effort will establish the Fiero as a valuable part of automotive history (although recent) so that it can take its’ place among the other collectible American Classics.

Our club is also dedicated to upholding the laws of the highways and promoting safe driving during all of our events. We are active in supporting the local food banks by promoting an annual club food drive in the fall.

We also take an active roll in preserving our rights as automobile enthusiasts by monitoring local, state, and national legislation concerning our valued hobby.

Please take the time to Register and post in our Forum. We welcome fellow Fiero enthusiasts and hope you join us at our next meeting or event. Welcome

Adopt-A-Family for Christmas 2008

The Jet City Fieros club is participating in the YWCA's Adopt a Family program.

Our contact is Renee Timothy of the YWCA in Renton. The program is primarily focused for single mothers with children. Renee faxed the details to Jacky who will coordinate this activity, collect the donations and deliver them to the YWCA in the name of Jet City Fieros.

There are 2000 families identified needing help and our family is number 261.
The details for that family are listed below:

Name: Patisha Age:32 Gender: F Gift Ideas (choose one): cookbook, party planning book, watch, hat/scarf set, clothing size:medium, fav. colors: likes white

Name: Nesiah Age:9 Gender:F Gift Ideas (choose one): Competition jump rope, Barbie (black), Disney Books, Arts and Craft kits clothing size:nothing listed fav. colors:nothing listed

Shopping as suggested by the YWCA Holiday Adopt-A-Family program

For each member of the family, purchase gifts in the $25-$35 range. It is suggested that we purchase 2 gifts per person making the total value for each person with the two gifts approximately $60.00. (Homeless and low-income families are all-too familiar with second-hand clothes and toys. Something new is a real treat.)

Purchase a gift certificate to a local super market for food (i.e. Fred Meyer/Safeway) for a value of $15 per family member (in this case $30.00.)

With the above shopping instructions and given that we are providing for a 2 person family, we decided at the club meeting on Wednesday that we could have 2 volunteers for each family member and 1 volunteer for the gift certificate for the super market. This makes 5 volunteers each spending $25 to $30. It should be noted that the $25 - $35 gift range does not have to be a single gift, it could be several gifts that when added up would fall into the $25 - $35 range. If, (big if), we get more than 5 volunteers, Jacky will go back to Renee and tell her that we could do another 2 person family. Only If it looks like there are enough to participate at that level.
Any way here is what to do.

Call Jacky so that she can assign a gift to you.
You buy the gift and make arrangements to get it to Jacky (we can meet somewhere or you can bring it to the club meeting December 10th). Alternatively you can send a check and Jacky will get the gift for you and post the results.
All of the gifts must be turned in by Dec 13th.
They must be wrapped and labeled per instructions. Jacky and I will do the wrapping and labeling

If you decide to participate or if you have any questions, call Jacky at 425-432-0181
